Wilwood Front Red Superlite SRP Hub Conversion with 13.06-Inch Rotors, 6 × 5.50-Inch Wheels for Listed GM Truck/SUV Iron ProSpindles (Listed 1963–1987 Applications)

Red Superlite 6R calipers, 13.06-inch SRP rings and BP-10 pads provide the front service brakes in this six-lug conversion. Separate rotor hats connect to the supplied aluminum hubs. The fitment table assumes the documented Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindle, so a stock-spindle truck is not an approved installation. Check the 6 × 5.50-inch wheel pattern and the year-dependent offset before assembly. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. This kit is one configuration within that disc-brake-system range and must be matched to the vehicle build.

• Rotor specification: 13.06-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; SRP drilled & slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; SRP Drilled Rotor design; published vane configuration: 48 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.380 inch.
• Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting pattern: 6 x 5.50 inches.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

These application rows require Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles; the kit will not fit original equipment spindles. The listed GM trucks and SUVs span specific 1963–1987 model ranges, so check the exact row and installed spindle. Relative to the original brakes and spindle, Wilwood specifies wheel movement of 0.41 inch outboard for 1963–1970 and 0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987. Match the six-lug 6 × 5.50-inch wheel interface and allow for the resulting wheel position when checking fender, suspension and brake clearance. Spindles and flexible lines are not included.
