Wilwood Front 6 × 5.50-Inch Hub Brake Package, 13.06-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors and Black Superlite Calipers for GM Truck/SUV Iron ProSpindles (Listed 1963–1987 Applications)

Black six-piston Superlite calipers act on 13.06-inch drilled/slotted rotors in this six-lug front hub package. BP-10 pads, separate aluminum hats and 6 × 5.50-inch hubs are supplied for the required iron ProSpindle arrangement. Original GM spindles are excluded. Confirm that the chosen wheel seats fully on the hub and passes the 17-inch clearance drawing, then select the necessary flexline length and fittings. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc-brake systems and components, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Each component must match the rest of the brake system.

• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-7056, 220-11237, 220-12168.
• Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, black powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor specification: 13.06-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; SRP drilled & slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; SRP Drilled Rotor design; published vane configuration: 48 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.380 inch.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting pattern: 6 x 5.50 inches.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the six-lug wheel and the actual iron spindle before selecting this SRP front kit. The hub pattern is 6 × 5.50 inches, and fitment requires Wilwood's one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles rather than the original GM parts. The larger 13.06-inch rotating assembly needs the clearance shown in the kit drawing. Allow for a 0.41-inch outward wheel shift on listed 1963–1970 builds and a 0.06-inch inward shift on listed 1971–1987 builds, measured against the original brake/spindle arrangement. Confirm the exact model/year row below and provide the required spindles and flexible lines separately. Brake balance, wheel seating and hose travel must be checked on the completed vehicle.
