Wilwood Red Superlite 6R Front System, 12.19-Inch GT Rotors and 6 × 5.50-Inch Hubs for Listed GM Truck/SUV ProSpindle Applications (Listed 1963–1987 Applications)

Red Superlite calipers and slotted 12.19-inch rotors identify this compact six-piston front package. Six-lug hubs support 6 × 5.50-inch wheels for the listed GM truck and SUV iron ProSpindle installations. BP-10 pads and mounting hardware are supplied, with flexible brake lines excluded. Clearance depends on both the installed spindle geometry and the internal wheel shape, not on the model badge alone. From Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc-brake systems for street-performance, motorsport and specialized uses. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form part of its range, and must be combined to match the demands of the complete brake system.

• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Rotor specification: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 1.10-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Iron construction; Ultralite HP 32 design; published vane configuration: 32 V.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-7056, 220-11237, 220-12168.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

These application rows require Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles; the kit will not fit original equipment spindles. The listed GM trucks and SUVs span specific 1963–1987 model ranges, so check the exact row and installed spindle. Relative to the original brakes and spindle, Wilwood specifies wheel movement of 0.41 inch outboard for 1963–1970 and 0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987. Match the six-lug 6 × 5.50-inch wheel interface and allow for the resulting wheel position when checking fender, suspension and brake clearance. Spindles and flexible lines are not included.
