Wilwood Six-Lug Front Brake System for GM Truck/SUV Iron ProSpindles, 12.19-Inch SRP Rotor/Hubs and Red Superlite 6R Service Calipers (Listed 1963–1987 Applications)

This red-caliper front kit combines Superlite 6R service brakes and 12.19-inch SRP rotors with six-lug hubs. The required wheel interface is 6 × 5.50 inches, and the brackets locate on Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles. It is not compatible with original equipment spindles. Review the listed GM truck/SUV application and offset change before fitting the supplied BP-10 pads and completing the hydraulic connections. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, designs and manufactures disc brake systems from its Camarillo, California base. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications use its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Correct component selection depends on the requirements of the entire braking system.

• Rotor specification: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 1.10-inch thickness; SRP drilled & slotted faces. Iron construction; SRP Drilled Rotor design; published vane configuration: 32 V.
• Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting pattern: 6 x 5.50 inches.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-7056, 220-11237, 220-12168.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

These application rows require Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles; the kit will not fit original equipment spindles. The listed GM trucks and SUVs span specific 1963–1987 model ranges, so check the exact row and installed spindle. Relative to the original brakes and spindle, Wilwood specifies wheel movement of 0.41 inch outboard for 1963–1970 and 0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987. Match the six-lug 6 × 5.50-inch wheel interface and allow for the resulting wheel position when checking fender, suspension and brake clearance. Spindles and flexible lines are not included.
