Product details

The red/GT AERO6 configuration supplies six-piston front calipers, 14-inch Spec-37 rotor rings and five-lug aluminum hubs. It is matched to the required Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles on listed GM trucks and SUVs. BP-20 pads are the specified friction compound for these GT rotors. Treat nominal 18-inch wheel diameter as a guide, then verify the complete drawing and the documented track-width change. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc-brake systems and components, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Each component must match the rest of the brake system.

  • Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
  • Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

These application rows require Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles; the kit will not fit original equipment spindles. The listed GM trucks and SUVs span specific 1963–1987 model ranges, so check the exact row and installed spindle. Relative to the original brakes and spindle, Wilwood specifies wheel movement of 0.41 inch outboard for 1963–1970 and 0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987. Match the five-lug 5 × 4.75 / 5 × 5.00-inch wheel interface and allow for the resulting wheel position when checking fender, suspension and brake clearance.
