Wilwood Front AERO6 Hub Brake Package, Red Calipers and 14-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors for GM Truck/SUV Five-Lug Iron ProSpindles (Listed 1963–1987 Applications)

Red six-piston AERO6 calipers work with 14.00-inch drilled/slotted rotors and BP-10 pads in this GM truck front kit. The wheel hubs provide the stated five-lug patterns, with separate hats linking the vented rotors to those hubs. Fitment is conditional on Wilwood iron Pro Drop spindles. Confirm spindle identity first, then check wheel clearance, wheel seating and the separately purchased hose installation. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected to suit the complete braking system.

• Rotor specification: 14.00-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; SRP drilled & slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; SRP Drilled Rotor design; published vane configuration: 72 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.380 inch.
• Service caliper: AERO6; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.38, 1.38 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

The AERO6 caliper outline must clear the actual wheel; do not reuse a wheel-clearance judgment made for a Superlite kit. This package supplies five-lug hubs drilled 5 × 4.75 and 5 × 5.00 inches for the GM truck/SUV applications shown below. Its brackets fit Wilwood one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles, which are required and sold separately. Original equipment spindles will not accept the conversion. For the listed 1963–1970 vehicles, the assembly shifts wheel position 0.41 inch outward relative to stock brakes/spindles; the 1971–1987 arrangement shifts it 0.06 inch inward.
