Wilwood Front Brake System with Red Superlite 6R Calipers, 13.06-Inch GT Rotors and Five-Lug Hubs for GM Truck/SUV ProSpindles (Listed 1963–1987 Applications)

The red/GT 13.06-inch front system supplies six-piston Superlite calipers, BP-20 pads and aluminum five-lug hubs. Separate hats attach the vented rotor rings to the hub assemblies for Wilwood's one-piece iron truck ProSpindles. Check the spindle casting and listed application before purchase. The supplied brake geometry and the resulting wheel position need to be considered together when selecting wheel backspacing. From Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc-brake systems for street-performance, motorsport and specialized uses. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form part of its range, and must be combined to match the demands of the complete brake system.

• Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-20.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor specification: 13.06-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; GT 48 Curved Vane design; published vane configuration: 48 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, black e-coat finish; Big Brake Hat - Flared Bell. Hat offset: 1.380 inch.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-7056, 220-11237, 220-12168.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

These application rows require Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles; the kit will not fit original equipment spindles. The listed GM trucks and SUVs span specific 1963–1987 model ranges, so check the exact row and installed spindle. Relative to the original brakes and spindle, Wilwood specifies wheel movement of 0.41 inch outboard for 1963–1970 and 0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987. Match the five-lug 5 × 4.75 / 5 × 5.00-inch wheel interface and allow for the resulting wheel position when checking fender, suspension and brake clearance.
