Product details
Red powder-coated Superlite calipers and GT slotted 12.19-inch rotors define this six-piston front conversion. The five-lug hubs support the listed GM truck and SUV installations using Wilwood iron Pro Drop spindles. BP-10 pads are included; hydraulic flexlines are not. Use the exact application row to identify the relevant wheel-position change and compare the 15-inch wheel template with the actual wheel. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc-brake systems and components, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Each component must match the rest of the brake system.

- Manufacturer part number: 140-15940-R. Quantity: one kit for the stated axle/application.
- Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Hat Mount, aluminum, bare finish.
- Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.75; 5 x 5.00 inches.
- Service caliper: Forged Narrow Superlite 6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
- Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
- Rotor specification: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 1.10-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Iron construction; Ultralite HP 32 design; published vane configuration: 32 V.
- Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
- Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
- Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-7056, 220-11237, 220-12168.
- Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
Fitment & Compatibility
These application rows require Wilwood C10 one-piece iron Pro Drop spindles; the kit will not fit original equipment spindles. The listed GM trucks and SUVs span specific 1963–1987 model ranges, so check the exact row and installed spindle. Relative to the original brakes and spindle, Wilwood specifies wheel movement of 0.41 inch outboard for 1963–1970 and 0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987. Match the five-lug 5 × 4.75 / 5 × 5.00-inch wheel interface and allow for the resulting wheel position when checking fender, suspension and brake clearance.
