Wilwood Red Dynapro Front Hub Brake System, 11.75-Inch Plain Rotors for Listed GM A/F/X-Body AFX ProSpindle Applications (Listed 1964–1974 Applications)

This red Dynapro package supplies four-piston front calipers, plain-face 11.75-inch rotors and aluminum hubs for an AFX ProSpindle conversion. The separate rotor/adapters distinguish it from the integral rotor/hub Classic kit. Application depends on the actual Wilwood spindle, the hub's wheel-bolt pattern and complete wheel seating. Provide the required flexible hydraulic connections separately, with clearance throughout steering and suspension movement. From Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc-brake systems for street-performance, motorsport and specialized uses. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form part of its range, and must be combined to match the demands of the complete brake system.

• Service caliper: Dynapro Radial Mount; 4 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.75 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor specification: 11.75-inch outside diameter × 0.81-inch thickness; plain faces. Iron construction; Ultralite HP 30 design; published vane configuration: 32 V.
• Supplied hub assembly: Hub - Vented Rotor Offset, aluminum, bare finish.
• Wheel mounting patterns: 5 x 4.50; 5 x 4.75 inches.
• Brake hoses are not included. Manufacturer line-kit reference(s), sold separately: 220-7056.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use only with the documented Wilwood AFX ProSpindles on the listed GM A-, F- and X-body applications. The manufacturer identifies the primary groups as 1964–1972 A-body, 1967–1969 F-body and 1968–1974 X-body; individual rows retain their specific year and model limits. The required aftermarket spindles are not included, and original spindles are not an equivalent interface. Verify wheel-bolt pattern, hub contact surface, caliper clearance and the completed hydraulic balance. The wheel mounting surfaces must seat fully on the hub; follow the installation sheet’s spacer requirement if a wheel contact surface overhangs the hub face.
