Wilwood Front Classic Dynalite-M Brake Kit for Listed GM A/F/X-Body AFX ProSpindle Applications, Black Calipers and 11-Inch Plain Rotors (Listed 1964–1974 Applications)

The Classic Dynalite-M kit combines black four-piston service calipers with integral 11.00-inch iron rotor/hub assemblies for the listed GM A/F/X-body vehicles already equipped with Wilwood AFX ProSpindles. The screw-in wheel-stud and bearing arrangement belongs to this spindle conversion. It is a compact alternative to the separate-hub big-brake packages, with a 14-inch nominal wheel requirement and supplied braided flexlines. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected to suit the complete braking system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-15908. Quantity: one kit for the stated axle/application.
• Rotor specification: 11.00-inch outside diameter × 1.00-inch thickness; plain faces. Iron construction; 1 PC Hub and Rotor design; published vane configuration: Vented.
• Service caliper: Forged Dynalite-M; 4 pistons; stainless piston material. Lug mounting, black powder coat finish.
• One-piece iron rotor/hub assemblies are supplied, with the documented wheel-bearing and screw-in-stud arrangement.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.75 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Included braided flexline kit: 220-7699 (16.00 in). Confirm the chassis fitting and routing for the actual installation.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 14 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use only with the documented Wilwood AFX ProSpindles on the listed GM A-, F- and X-body applications. The manufacturer identifies the primary groups as 1964–1972 A-body, 1967–1969 F-body and 1968–1974 X-body; individual rows retain their specific year and model limits. The required aftermarket spindles are not included, and original spindles are not an equivalent interface. Verify wheel-bolt pattern, hub contact surface, caliper clearance and the completed hydraulic balance.
