Product details

This rear inboard sprint assembly combines a four-piston Forged Superlite radial caliper with a 12.19 × 1.25-inch vented rotor and dynamic rotor-adapter hardware. Its clamp arrangement is intended for a 3.00-inch, 46-spline sprint axle and a sidebell with 3.50-inch mounting centers. BP-40 pads and Thermlock pistons belong to this racing configuration; road-car model or axle-family names do not establish compatibility. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc-brake systems and components, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Each component must match the rest of the brake system.

  • Rotor specification: 12.19-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; plain faces. Iron construction; ULtralite 32 Curved Vane design; published vane configuration: 32 CV.
  • Supplied hub assembly: Sprint Inboard Hub Kit - Dynamic, aluminum, Type III Anodize finish.
  • Inboard axle/hub interface: 3.00-inch axle with 46 splines; sidebell mounting centers: 3.50 inches.
  • Includes the dynamic inboard rotor axle-clamp/adapter arrangement, radial mounting bracket assembly, pads and mounting hardware. Master cylinder, brake booster and brake lines are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

Race only; not for street use. The installation sheet specifies a standard inboard sprint sidebell with 3.50-inch mounting centers and a 3.00-inch, 46-spline axle. Position the dynamic rotor adapter and axle clamp exactly as documented. The supplied 12.19-inch rotor is vented iron. No passenger-car fitment is established.
