Wilwood Red-Caliper Corvette Front Brake System, SX6R Dynamic Mount with 15-Inch GT Slotted Rotors (2014–2019)

For a Corvette using the listed C7 spindle and hub layout, this front system combines red six-piston SX6R calipers with 72-vane GT slotted rotors. The dynamic lug-drive hats support the separate 15.00-inch rings, and ProMatrix pads are the specified friction choice. Braided flexlines are supplied. Check the individual Stingray, Z51, Z06, Grand Sport or ZR1 row before treating the overall year span as approval for a particular car. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Its disc brake systems serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. • Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Service caliper: SX6R; 6 pistons; stainless piston material. Radial mounting, red powder coat finish.
• Published piston bores: 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches. Supplied pad compound: PM - ProMatrix.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor specification: 15.00-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; GT slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; GT 72 Curved Vane design; published vane configuration: 72 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, Type III Anodize finish; Big Brake Dynamic Lug Drive - Short Offset. Hat offset: 0.518 inch.
• No replacement wheel hubs are supplied; retain or provide the documented matching hub arrangement.
• Wheel mounting pattern: 5 x 4.75 inches.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 19 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Included braided flexline kit: 220-9100 (18.00 in). Confirm the chassis fitting and routing for the actual installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

The application rows distinguish Corvette Stingray 2014–2019, Z51 2014–2016, Z06 2015–2019, Grand Sport 2017–2019 and ZR1 2019. Confirm the exact entry and factory spindle/hub arrangement. The installation sheet requires opening the original hose-bracket hole to 0.625 inch and checking the wheel template. Wilwood specifies compatibility with the original master-cylinder output and ABS; evaluate front/rear balance after the conversion.
