Wilwood Black SX6R Front Conversion Brake Kit, 15-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors, Chevrolet Corvette (2014–2019)

Drilled and slotted 15.00-inch rotor rings distinguish this black-caliper SX6R front conversion for the Chevrolet Corvette. The kit uses BP-10 pads, separate dynamic-mount hats and six-piston radial calipers rather than the GT rotor/ProMatrix combination. It retains the documented factory-hub arrangement and includes braided hoses; matching the C7 application and wheel profile remains part of installation planning. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc-brake systems and components, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Each component must match the rest of the brake system.

• Published piston bores: 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor specification: 15.00-inch outside diameter × 1.25-inch thickness; SRP drilled & slotted faces. Spec-37 Iron construction; SRP Drilled Rotor design; published vane configuration: 72 CV.
• Rotor hats: aluminum, Type III Anodize finish; Big Brake Dynamic Lug Drive - Short Offset. Hat offset: 0.518 inch.
• No replacement wheel hubs are supplied; retain or provide the documented matching hub arrangement.
• Wheel mounting pattern: 5 x 4.75 inches.
• Included braided flexline kit: 220-9100 (18.00 in). Confirm the chassis fitting and routing for the actual installation.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 19 inches. The wheel must also clear the actual caliper and rotor profile in the installation drawing.
• Mounting hardware and the specified pads are included. Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.

Fitment & Compatibility

The application rows distinguish Corvette Stingray 2014–2019, Z51 2014–2016, Z06 2015–2019, Grand Sport 2017–2019 and ZR1 2019. Confirm the exact entry and factory spindle/hub arrangement. The installation sheet requires opening the original hose-bracket hole to 0.625 inch and checking the wheel template. Wilwood specifies compatibility with the original master-cylinder output and ABS; evaluate front/rear balance after the conversion.
