Fitment & Compatibility

The supplied early Ford/Mercury V8 applications have precise spindle limits. In particular, listed 1965–1967 Mustangs include the stated drum/disc arrangements, while 1968–1969 Mustang coverage is for drum spindles only. Early Falcon, Ranchero, Comet and Cyclone entries include their stated V8 restrictions. Original vehicle identity does not establish the installed spindle. This six-piston dust-sealed conversion combines 14.00 × 1.10-inch rotors with separate hats, aluminum hubs, bearings, seals and 1/2-20 studs. The hubs offer 5 × 4.50 and 5 × 4.75-inch wheel patterns and increase the wheel-face offset by 0.25 inch. Hoses are separate; DS-1295 and the current associated-parts listing specify 220-12168, with route and end fitting verification still required. Follow that kit-specific instruction rather than treating older generic hose references as interchangeable. Check the nominal 18-inch wheel guidance against the clearance drawing.
