Wilwood SX6R Front Brake Kit for Listed C5/C6 Corvette, Cadillac XLR and Ridetech Hub-Spindle Applications, Black Calipers, GT 14-Inch Rotors

Black SX6R six-piston calipers operate 14-inch GT rings through dynamic lug-drive aluminum hats. The package uses ProMatrix pads and retains the matched existing hubs, covering specific later Corvette/XLR configurations and separately identified Ridetech hub-spindle conversions. Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components since its founding by Bill Wood in 1977. The company is based in Camarillo, California, and serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, rotors, hydraulic master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines need to be matched to the complete system in which they operate.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match each model/year and suspension entry below. Earlier GM and 1963–1982 Corvette entries require Ridetech HUB spindles, not stock or Ridetech pin spindles. DS1283 governs rotor installation. Check the nominal 18-inch wheel envelope and select separate chassis-appropriate hoses; stock C5/C6 hose references do not establish custom-chassis routing.
