Wilwood Front Dynalite Drag Brake Kit for Specified Early Ford Drum Spindles, Selected 1937–1948 Applications, Anodized Calipers and Drilled 10.75-Inch Steel Rotors

Anodized four-piston Dynalite calipers and thin drilled steel rotors form this early Ford front drag package. Aluminum hubs, bearings, seals, wheel studs and mounting hardware are included, with the brake system's weight allowance depending on the rear brake type. The manufacturer, Wilwood Engineering, was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc systems and component parts across motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines. Those individual parts must be selected in the context of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the actual early Ford drum spindle against DS198 and the individual 1937–1948 model rows. Limits are 2,800 lb with rear disc brakes or 2,400 lb with rear drums. Wheel-face overhang can require the separate specified spacer; verify hub contact, dust-cap washer clearance and the full wheel drawing before racing.
