Red Superlite service calipers and red MC4 parking calipers share drilled-and-slotted rear rotors in this C4 package. The mechanical parking system is carried by the auxiliary calipers rather than an internal drum-shoe mechanism. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems plus their individual components. Its work serves specialized applications, motorsport and street-performance vehicles, with a range of calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. A compatible complete system governs the selection of each part.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the 1988–1996 C4 suspension and hub configuration specified in DS1247. Original Corvette parking cables do not adapt directly to the MC4 units; select the separate production-car or custom-chassis cable kit. Hoses are also separate, and the full 17-inch wheel envelope must clear.
