This dedicated C4 rear race conversion replaces the original combination calipers with anodized four-piston Superlite 4R calipers and 12.88-inch GT rotors. It eliminates the parking brake and uses high-temperature BP-35 pads for sustained racing operation. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Wilwood Engineering is now based in Camarillo, California, where its work centers on disc brake systems and components. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations; selecting these parts requires considering the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm the 1988–1996 Corvette rear suspension and OE hub interface. Production C4 chassis require separate hose kit 220-8177; custom vehicles using the suspension need their flexline length specified individually. BP-35 pads can cause premature pad and rotor wear during extended cold use.
