Product details

Red powder-coated Superlite 4R calipers clamp drilled-and-slotted Spec-37 rotor rings in this rear axle package. Its internal parking mechanism fits inside the aluminum hats and uses the bearing-retention layout specified for the Mopar/Dana flange. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, with each part selected to match the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the non-adjustable snap-ring bearing configuration shown in DS1256, not the pressed-on five-hole retainer arrangement. Confirm 2.36 inches of axle offset, wheel pattern, registration and suspension clearance. Vehicle hoses and parking-cable attachments are additional parts.

Only snap-ring Green bearings of the specified MO400/A1022/9400M type are suitable. The RP400 pressed-on five-hole retainer type is incompatible. DS1256 warns that shock clearance may require modification or relocation.
