Wilwood Drilled 14-Inch Rear Disc/Parking Conversion for Mopar/Dana 2.36-Inch-Offset Axles, Black Superlite Calipers, Snap-Ring Bearings Only

Drilled-and-slotted rotor rings combine with black Superlite calipers and aluminum parking hats in this rear conversion. The separate internal shoes provide parking operation, with mounting restricted to the specified snap-ring bearing and axle-end geometry. Wilwood Engineering is based in Camarillo, California; Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Disc brake system design and manufacturing includes calipers, rotors, master cylinders, pressure valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Component selection must account for how the complete brake system mounts, operates and balances.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the bearing and retainer directly with DS1256 Figures 1 and 2. A pressed-on-retainer RP400 bearing must be replaced by the approved snap-ring arrangement before this kit can fit. Measure the 2.36-inch axle offset and allow for any required shock-clearance changes.

Only snap-ring Green bearings of the specified MO400/A1022/9400M type are suitable. The RP400 pressed-on five-hole retainer type is incompatible. DS1256 warns that shock clearance may require modification or relocation.
