Wilwood Ford F-100 1957–1967 Slotted Front Kit, Red Six-Piston Calipers, 12.88-Inch Rotors and Five-Lug Hubs

This Wilwood Superlite 6R kit is a front 12.88-inch hub brake conversion for 1957–1967 Ford F-100 Factory Drum Spindles. The hub kit supplies separate aluminum wheel hubs, rotor hats and 12.88-inch Spec-37 rotor rings with six-piston calipers. Wilwood Engineering designs complete disc brake systems as well as calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, it serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; individual parts require a matched system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14837-R.
• Rotor outside diameter: 12.88 in; 327.15 mm; thickness: 1.10 in; 27.94 mm. Construction is vented Spec-37 Iron, with gt slotted faces.
• Caliper specification: Superlite 6R; 6 stainless pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and radial mounting. Finish: Red Powder Coat.
• Published piston bores: 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-20.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; wheel-stud thread: 1/2-20.
• Separate rotor hats: aluminum, finished in Black E-Coat.
• Separate aluminum wheel hubs are included with the listed lug patterns and stud threads.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Hydraulic hoses are not included. Confirm the separate line kit, fitting sizes, length and routing. Separate reference: 220-11237.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the listed F-100 drum-spindle years; 1959–1967 entries specify 4 x 2. Match the factory spindle and DS-1263 bearing/locknut configuration. These hubs use 5 x 4.50/5 x 4.75-inch patterns, not the 5 x 5.50 pattern of the smaller one-piece Classic Series kit. Models covered: F-100.
