Wilwood 1957–1967 F-100 Front Drilled Disc Conversion, Black Superlite Calipers, 12.88-Inch SRP Rotors and Separate Hubs

This Wilwood Superlite 6R kit is a front 12.88-inch hub brake conversion for 1957–1967 Ford F-100 Factory Drum Spindles. The hub kit supplies separate aluminum wheel hubs, rotor hats and 12.88-inch Spec-37 rotor rings with six-piston calipers. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. The manufacturer supplies disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines that must work together as a complete system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14837-D.
• Match the Superlite 6R caliper architecture when selecting related components: radial attachment, 6 stainless pistons, forged aluminum body and Black Powder Coat finish.
• Pad selection is BP-10; piston-bore measurements are 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches. Confirm those values for any system changes.
• For rotor replacement, match all four specifications: 12.88 in; 327.15 mm outside diameter, 1.10 in; 27.94 mm thickness, Spec-37 Iron and the srp drilled & slotted surface. Rotor construction: vented.
• For the rotor-to-hub interface, the kit supplies separate aluminum hats finished in Black E-Coat.
• Wheel mounting is through the included aluminum hubs; check their exact lug circles and stud threads before selecting wheels.
• Attachment dimensions to confirm are 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm for the wheel mounting pattern(s) and 1/2-20 for the wheel-stud thread.
• Use a compatible hose adapter for the caliper's 1/8-27 NPT inlet.
• Included installation parts cover the kit mounting hardware, with spindles, brake booster and master cylinder excluded.
• Before ordering wheels, check the full inside profile against the drawing and the published 17 in; 431.8 mm minimum diameter.
• Plan the hydraulic connection separately: this kit has no hoses. Check line length and end fittings against the vehicle. Separate reference: 220-11237.
• One brake kit is supplied for the specified application and axle position.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the listed F-100 drum-spindle years; 1959–1967 entries specify 4 x 2. Match the factory spindle and DS-1263 bearing/locknut configuration. These hubs use 5 x 4.50/5 x 4.75-inch patterns, not the 5 x 5.50 pattern of the smaller one-piece Classic Series kit. Models covered: F-100.
