Wilwood Front Road-Racing Brake System for Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G35/G37, Thermlock AERO6-ST Calipers, 14-Inch Dynamic Rotors

This Wilwood AERO6-ST kit is a front road-race brake package for Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G35/G37 Competition Cars. The six-piston Thermlock calipers use thick BP-35 pads with dynamically mounted 14-inch GT rotors. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures complete disc brake systems and individual calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14820.
• At each caliper, the AERO6-ST configuration provides 6 pistons in Thermlock, housed in forged aluminum. The caliper attaches by radial mounting and is finished in Type III Anodize.
• For hydraulic matching, use the published 1.62, 1.12, 1.12-inch piston bores. Pads are the BP-35 compound.
• This version supplies gt slotted rotors in Spec-37 Iron. Their 14.00 in; 355.6 mm diameter and 1.25 in; 31.75 mm section are matched to the listed vented brake package.
• Rotor hats are individual aluminum components with Type III Anodize protection.
• Hub compatibility is required for installation. No new wheel hubs are included.
• The mounting interface uses 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; verify the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter of 0.520 in; 13.21 mm separately from the bolt circle.
• Inlet-port specification for hose/fitting selection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• The listed brackets and fasteners belong to the kit. Spindles and the master-cylinder/booster assembly are outside the package.
• Wheel clearance must be measured using the installation template; the manufacturer lists 18 in; 457.2 mm as the nominal minimum.
• For the hydraulic connection, supplied braided set 220-11590 has a 24.00 in published hose length. Match the end fittings to the vehicle.
• Order quantity refers to one brake conversion kit, not an individual loose rotor or caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility

Follow the exact 370Z Sport/non-Sport, G35 four-door/caliper and G37 body/brake-package rows. DS-1260 requires front dust-shield cutting. The 18-inch published minimum must still pass the specific wheel profile drawing. Models covered: G35, G37 and 370Z. Use the included high-temperature race pads for circuit conditions; extended low-temperature operation causes premature rotor and pad wear.

Kit may fit some 18" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.
