Wilwood Rear GT-Slotted Rotor Package with Red Superlite 4R Calipers for BMW E46 M3 (2001–2006), Factory Parking Retained

This Wilwood Superlite 4R kit is a rear disc upgrade retaining factory parking brakes for BMW M3 E46 2001–2006. Four-piston Superlite 4R calipers and 12.88-inch rotors use parking-brake hats designed around the existing BMW mechanism. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake systems and components. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, with compatibility assessed across the complete braking system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14752-R.
• Rotor outside diameter: 12.88 in; 327.15 mm; thickness: 1.10 in; 27.94 mm. Construction is vented Spec-37 Iron, with gt slotted faces.
• Caliper specification: Superlite 4R; 4 stainless pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and radial mounting. Finish: Red Powder Coat.
• Published piston bores: 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-20.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 5 X 4.72 in; 5 X 119.89 mm; nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter: 0.610 in; 15.49 mm.
• Separate rotor hats: aluminum, finished in Black E-Coat.
• No wheel hubs are supplied; use the documented existing hub arrangement.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Included braided flexlines: kit 220-14759, with 20.00 in hose length. Confirm fitting compatibility and routing.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the listed 2001–2006 E46 M3 rear assembly. The original parking brake, OE master-cylinder output and ABS functions are retained for the documented installation. DS-1252 requires dust-shield trimming and bracket-bolt clearance notches; existing parking shoes/cables remain in service. Models covered: M3.
