Wilwood Front GT-Slotted 14-Inch Brake Package for 2001–2006 BMW E46 M3 with Red Calipers & BP-20 Pads

This Wilwood AERO6 kit is a front disc upgrade for 2001–2006 BMW E46 M3. Six-piston AERO6 calipers, 14-inch Spec-37 rotor rings and application-specific aluminum hats retain the verified factory brake-system interfaces. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 with founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs disc brake systems and components for racing, performance-road and specialized use, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines; the complete system determines component selection.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14751-R.
• At each caliper, the AERO6 configuration provides 6 pistons in stainless, housed in forged aluminum. The caliper attaches by radial mounting and is finished in Red Powder Coat.
• For hydraulic matching, use the published 1.62, 1.12, 1.12-inch piston bores. Pads are the BP-20 compound.
• This version supplies gt slotted rotors in Spec-37 Iron. Their 14.00 in; 355.6 mm diameter and 1.25 in; 31.75 mm section are matched to the listed vented brake package.
• Rotor hats are individual aluminum components with Black E-Coat protection.
• Hub compatibility is required for installation. No new wheel hubs are included.
• The mounting interface uses 5 X 4.72 in; 5 X 119.89 mm; verify the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter of 0.520 in; 13.21 mm separately from the bolt circle.
• Inlet-port specification for hose/fitting selection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• The listed brackets and fasteners belong to the kit. Spindles and the master-cylinder/booster assembly are outside the package.
• Wheel clearance must be measured using the installation template; the manufacturer lists 18 in; 457.2 mm as the nominal minimum.
• For the hydraulic connection, supplied braided set 220-11983 has an 18.00-inch published hose length. Match the end fittings to the vehicle.
• Order quantity refers to one brake conversion kit, not an individual loose rotor or caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the listed 2001–2006 E46 M3, match the original hub, register and factory spindle. DS-1251 requires front dust-shield cutting to clear the larger rotor. This kit does not establish fitment for other E46 models or generations. Models covered: M3.
