Wilwood Red AERO6 Front Brakes with SRP Rotors & Included Lines for BMW M3 E46 (2001–2006)

Give the documented E46 M3 front installation the red-caliper, drilled-and-slotted AERO6 configuration. Its 14.00-inch rotor diameter and 1.25-inch section are combined with separate aluminum hats, radial six-piston calipers and BP-10 pads. This SRP version differs from the slotted GT kit's pad selection; verify the components supplied for this exact configuration. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines must be selected as parts of a complete, matched braking system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14751-DR.
• 5 X 4.72 in; 5 X 119.89 mm is the listed wheel mounting pattern(s) dimension. Nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter: 0.520 in; 13.21 mm.
• Existing verified wheel hubs remain in service; replacement hubs are not supplied.
• Friction surface and size: srp drilled & slotted; 14.00 in; 355.6 mm diameter x 1.25 in; 31.75 mm thickness. The rotor material is Spec-37 Iron in a vented design.
• This is a two-piece disc arrangement using aluminum hats in Black E-Coat.
• The calipers are AERO6 units with a Red Powder Coat exterior. A forged aluminum body locates 6 stainless pistons; attachment is radial mount.
• The matched pads use BP-10. Manufacturer bore figures for the caliper are 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches.
• The caliper accepts the listed 1/8-27 NPT hydraulic connection.
• Wheel minimum: 18 in; 457.2 mm. Confirm the complete wheel shape and mounting hardware clear the brake drawing.
• Flexible lines are provided as kit 220-11983; length is 18.00 in. Route them clear of suspension, wheels and rotors.
• No spindle, booster or master cylinder is included; the kit does contain mounting hardware for the stated installation.
• This listing supplies one kit for the documented brake configuration.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use this front kit on the listed 2001–2006 BMW E46 M3 hub and factory spindle. Retain the original hub, confirm its center register and lug-bolt clearances, and compare the chosen wheel with DS-1251 before ordering. The dust shield must be cut for the larger disc, preferably after removal as Wilwood instructs. This M3-specific application does not extend to other E46 chassis variants. Models covered: M3.
