Wilwood Front Slotted-Rotor Package for Marauder, Grand Marquis, Crown Victoria & Town Car with Red Six-Piston AERO6 Calipers

This Wilwood AERO6 kit is a front 14-inch AERO6 upgrade for Crown Victoria/Town Car/Grand Marquis/Marauder. AERO6 calipers use the larger listed piston bores with 14 x 1.25-inch Spec-37 rotors. The kit belongs to Wilwood Engineering's range of disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and produces calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for complete brake-system planning.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14682-R.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter: 0.580 in; 14.73 mm.
• No wheel hubs are supplied; use the documented existing hub arrangement.
• Rotor outside diameter: 14.00 in; 355.6 mm; thickness: 1.25 in; 31.75 mm. Construction is vented Spec-37 Iron, with gt slotted faces.
• Separate rotor hats: aluminum, finished in Black E-Coat.
• Caliper specification: AERO6; 6 stainless pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and radial mounting. Finish: Red Powder Coat.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.38, 1.38 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 18 in; 457.2 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Hydraulic hoses are not included. Confirm the separate line kit, fitting sizes, length and routing. Separate reference: 220-14690.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the listed 2003–2011 Crown Victoria, Lincoln Town Car and Mercury Grand Marquis, or 2003–2004 Marauder, verify the exact option/wheelbase row. DS-1242 calls out separate hose 220-14690 only for Crown Victoria. Confirm the correct lines for other models and check all wheel/spindle interfaces before purchase.
