Wilwood Front Drilled-Rotor Conversion, 14-Inch SRP & Black Six-Piston Calipers for Town Car, Marauder, Crown Victoria & Grand Marquis

This Wilwood Superlite 6R kit is a front 14-inch Superlite disc upgrade for Ford Panther Platform: Crown Victoria, Town Car, Grand Marquis and Marauder. The 14-inch rotor package keeps a narrow six-piston caliper design and requires an 18-inch nominal wheel before profile checks. Wilwood Engineering designs complete disc brake systems as well as calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, it serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; individual parts require a matched system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14681-D.
• Spec-37 Iron forms the vented rotors. Each disc has a srp drilled & slotted face, an outside diameter of 14.00 in; 355.6 mm and thickness of 1.25 in; 31.75 mm.
• Black Powder Coat Superlite 6R calipers are supplied. Their forged aluminum bodies use the radial mounting arrangement with 6 stainless pistons in each caliper.
• Piston sizes listed by Wilwood are 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches, with BP-10 friction material in this kit.
• Hydraulic fitting interface on each caliper: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Match 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm at the wheel mounting pattern(s) interface, with 0.580 in; 14.73 mm as the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter.
• Black E-Coat treatment covers the separate aluminum rotor hats.
• The package excludes wheel hubs. Check the retained hubs against the specified mounting interface.
• Published wheel minimum is 18 in; 457.2 mm, subject to the required inside-profile check. Rotor diameter is a separate measurement.
• Application-specific mounting hardware is supplied. Provide or retain the correct spindle, master cylinder and brake booster separately.
• The package excludes hydraulic hoses. Choose compatible connections and line length for the specific installation. Separate reference: 220-14690.
• Package quantity is one application-specific brake kit.

Fitment & Compatibility

The exact listed applications cover 2003–2011 Crown Victoria, Town Car and Grand Marquis and 2003–2004 Marauder. Match wheelbase and factory spindle. DS-1241 limits the named 220-14690 hose reference to Crown Victoria; other cars need individually confirmed hoses. Reposition Crown Victoria hardlines carefully as instructed.
