Wilwood GT-Slotted 12.88-Inch Front Package for Grand Marquis, Crown Victoria, Town Car & Marauder, Red Superlite 6R Calipers

This Wilwood Superlite 6R kit is a front 12.88-inch disc upgrade for Crown Victoria, Town Car, Grand Marquis and Marauder. The 12.88 x 1.25-inch rotors mount on separate aluminum hats and work with six-piston Superlite calipers. The kit belongs to Wilwood Engineering's range of disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and produces calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for complete brake-system planning.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14680-R.
• Rotor outside diameter: 12.88 in; 327.15 mm; thickness: 1.25 in; 31.75 mm. Construction is vented Spec-37 Iron, with gt slotted faces.
• Caliper specification: Superlite 6R; 6 stainless pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and radial mounting. Finish: Red Powder Coat.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter: 0.580 in; 14.73 mm.
• Separate rotor hats: aluminum, finished in Black E-Coat.
• No wheel hubs are supplied; use the documented existing hub arrangement.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Hydraulic hoses are not included. Confirm the separate line kit, fitting sizes, length and routing. Separate reference: 220-14690.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use 2003–2011 Crown Victoria, Town Car and Grand Marquis plus 2003–2004 Marauder as listed. Respect the wheelbase-specific rows. DS-1240 identifies hose 220-14690 for Crown Victoria only; for the other models confirm suitable separate hose length, fittings and routing.
