Wilwood Front Dynalite-M Classic Brake Kit with Black Calipers and 11.50-Inch Rotor/Hubs for Listed Chevrolet Drum Spindles

This Wilwood Dynalite-M kit is a front Classic Series disc conversion for Classic Chevrolet Drum Spindles and 1963–1964 Corvette. Plain 11.50-inch iron rotor/hub castings combine with four-piston Dynalite-M calipers for the verified drum-spindle applications. Wilwood Engineering designs complete disc brake systems as well as calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, it serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; individual parts require a matched system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14663.
• 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm is the listed wheel mounting pattern(s) dimension. Listed stud diameter: 0.50 in; 12.70 mm.
• One-piece iron rotor/hub castings replace the original drum assemblies. Separate aluminum hubs and rotor hats are not used.
• Friction surface and size: plain face; 11.50 in; 292.1 mm diameter x 1.00 in; 25.4 mm thickness. The rotor material is Iron in a vented design.
• The calipers are Dynalite-M units with a Black Powder Coat exterior. A forged aluminum body locates 4 stainless pistons; attachment is lug mount.
• The matched pads use BP-10. Manufacturer bore figures for the caliper are 1.75, 1.75 inches.
• The caliper accepts the listed 1/8-27 NPT hydraulic connection.
• Wheel minimum: 15 in; 381 mm. Confirm the complete wheel shape and mounting hardware clear the brake drawing.
• Brake lines are a separate purchase. Verify end fittings, safe routing and the length needed for this application. Separate reference: 220-7699.
• No spindle, booster or master cylinder is included; the kit does contain mounting hardware for the stated installation.
• This listing supplies one kit for the documented brake configuration.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the complete Chevrolet model/year list, including 1955–1957 passenger cars, listed 1959–1964 full-size cars and 1963–1964 Corvette. Follow the appropriate DS-1243 bracket/hardware configuration; do not assume every year between these groups is listed. Models covered: Bel Air, Nomad, One-Fifty Series, Sedan Delivery, Two-Ten Series, Del Ray, Biscayne, Brookwood, El Camino, Impala, Kingswood, Parkwood and Corvette. If a separate rear parking-brake conversion is also planned, a universal parking cable may need cable or vehicle changes; it is not part of this front kit.

Separate universal hose choices are 220-7056 (14-inch), 220-7699 (16-inch) or 220-8307 (18-inch). Select the correct length and end fittings; these are alternatives, not three required kits.
