Wilwood Front Classic Series Brake Kit with Red Dynapro 6 Calipers & Dual-Pattern Rotor/Hubs for F-100 2WD (1968–1972)

This Wilwood Dynapro 6 kit is a front Classic Series disc conversion for 1968–1972 Ford F-100 2WD Drum Spindles. Six-piston Dynapro calipers are supplied with plain 11.75 x 1.10-inch integral rotor/hub castings. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake systems and components. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, with compatibility assessed across the complete braking system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14614-R.
• Match 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 5.5 in; 5 x 139.7 mm at the wheel mounting pattern(s) interface, with 0.50 in; 12.70 mm as the listed stud diameter.
• Wheel-hub and rotor functions share one supplied iron component rather than a separate aluminum hub and hat.
• Iron forms the vented rotors. Each disc has a plain face, an outside diameter of 11.75 in; 298.45 mm and thickness of 1.10 in; 27.94 mm.
• Red Powder Coat Dynapro 6 calipers are supplied. Their forged aluminum bodies use the lug mounting arrangement with 6 stainless pistons in each caliper.
• Piston sizes listed by Wilwood are 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches, with BP-10 friction material in this kit.
• Hydraulic fitting interface on each caliper: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Published wheel minimum is 15 in; 381 mm, subject to the required inside-profile check. Rotor diameter is a separate measurement.
• The package excludes hydraulic hoses. Choose compatible connections and line length for the specific installation. Separate reference: 220-11237.
• Application-specific mounting hardware is supplied. Provide or retain the correct spindle, master cylinder and brake booster separately.
• Package quantity is one application-specific brake kit.

Fitment & Compatibility

This is the listed 1968–1972 F-100 4 x 2 factory drum-spindle application. Follow DS-1245 for the year-specific bearings, seals and locknut parts. The dual 5 x 4.50/5 x 5.50-inch pattern requires compatible wheels; earlier F-100 spindles use a different kit. Models covered: F-100.
