Wilwood 11.75-Inch Front Drum-to-Disc Conversion with Red Dynapro Calipers for 1957–1967 Ford F-100

This Wilwood Dynapro 6 kit is a front drum-to-disc conversion for 1957–1967 Ford F-100 Drum Spindles. The Classic Series one-piece 11.75-inch iron rotor/hub accepts both 5 x 4.50- and 5 x 5.50-inch wheel patterns. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. The manufacturer supplies disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines that must work together as a complete system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14607-R.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 5.5 in; 5 x 139.7 mm; listed stud diameter: 0.50 in; 12.70 mm.
• The supplied iron rotor and wheel hub are one casting; there is no separate aluminum hub or rotor hat.
• Rotor outside diameter: 11.75 in; 298.45 mm; thickness: 1.10 in; 27.94 mm. Construction is vented Iron, with plain faces.
• Caliper specification: Dynapro 6; 6 stainless pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and lug mounting. Finish: Red Powder Coat.
• Published piston bores: 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Hydraulic hoses are not included. Confirm the separate line kit, fitting sizes, length and routing. Separate reference: 220-11237.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the listed F-100 factory drum spindle and year group. The 1959–1967 listed applications specify 4 x 2. DS-1244 supplies a specific bearing/locknut arrangement; this is not the 1968–1972 spindle kit. Verify wheel pattern and clearance with the 15-inch minimum drawing. Models covered: F-100. DS-1244 specifies grease seal 44053 for 1957–1964 and 471424 for 1965–1967. Match the year-specific seal to the spindle before pressing it into the rotor/hub.
