Wilwood Front Dynapro 6 Classic Brake Kit for Ford F-100 (1957–1967), Black Calipers & 11.75-Inch Integral-Hub Rotors

This Wilwood Dynapro 6 kit is a front drum-to-disc conversion for 1957–1967 Ford F-100 Drum Spindles. The Classic Series one-piece 11.75-inch iron rotor/hub accepts both 5 x 4.50- and 5 x 5.50-inch wheel patterns. From its Camarillo, California base, Wilwood Engineering designs disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized needs. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, its range covers calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines chosen to work within a complete brake system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14607.
• The specified lug caliper is a Dynapro 6. It combines a Black Powder Coat forged aluminum body with 6 pistons per unit; the published piston material is stainless.
• When planning the line connection, account for the 1/8-27 NPT caliper inlet.
• Bores and friction material: 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches, with BP-10 pads supplied for the specified calipers.
• The vented discs have plain face friction surfaces and Iron construction. Nominal dimensions are 1.10 in; 27.94 mm through the braking section and 11.75 in; 298.45 mm at the outside edge.
• The listed stud diameter is 0.50 in; 12.70 mm; the matching wheel mounting pattern(s) are 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 5.5 in; 5 x 139.7 mm. These describe different aspects of the attachment.
• Rotor and hub are supplied as a combined iron casting, distinct from a kit using separate aluminum wheel hubs and rotor hats.
• The supplied hardware mounts the specified brake package. It does not include replacement spindles, a brake booster or a master cylinder.
• Flexlines are excluded from the brake package. Select the chassis-specific hoses and confirm safe clearance throughout travel. Separate reference: 220-11237.
• The caliper package calls for at least the published 15 in; 381 mm wheel diameter, plus sufficient spoke and inner-barrel clearance.
• This is a kit listing; one package contains the brake components described above.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the listed F-100 factory drum spindle and year group. The 1959–1967 listed applications specify 4 x 2. DS-1244 supplies a specific bearing/locknut arrangement; this is not the 1968–1972 spindle kit. Verify wheel pattern and clearance with the 15-inch minimum drawing. Models covered: F-100. Use the complete application table at the bottom for the precise year, submodel, brake option and note attached to each row.

DS-1244 specifies grease seal 44053 for 1957–1964 and 471424 for 1965–1967. Match the year-specific seal to the spindle before pressing it into the rotor/hub.
