Wilwood Red Combination Parking-Brake Calipers with 12.19-Inch SRP Rear Discs for Audi A4/S4/RS4/S5

This Wilwood CPB kit is a rear hydro-mechanical disc/parking-brake upgrade for Audi A4, S4, RS4 and S5 Rear Brakes. Combination calipers use hydraulic pressure for service braking and a separate internal mechanical lock for parking action. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 with founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs disc brake systems and components for racing, performance-road and specialized use, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines; the complete system determines component selection.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14591-DR.
• Caliper bodies are aluminum/steel, with Red Powder Coat treatment. This is the radial-mounted CPB version, using one steel piston per caliper.
• Fluid enters through a M 10 x 1.00 caliper port; match the adapter accordingly.
• This configuration uses BP-10 brake pads with caliper bores listed as 1.62 inches.
• Across the rotor face the measurement is 12.19 in; 309.63 mm; the braking section is 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick. Both discs use the specified vented Iron design and srp drilled & slotted finish.
• The supplied aluminum hats are separate from the friction rings and carry a Black E-Coat finish.
• For this kit the published wheel mounting pattern(s) are 5 x 4.41 in; 5 x 112.01 mm. Check the specified 0.590 in; 14.99 mm nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter.
• Wheel hubs are separate from this kit and must match the documented existing assembly.
• Mounting hardware accompanies the brake components; the vehicle's spindle, master cylinder and booster are separate items.
• Brake hoses are included: 220-14597, 12.00 in. Confirm adequate travel and the correct chassis-side fittings during assembly.
• The stated wheel requirement is 17 in; 431.8 mm. Nominal diameter alone does not establish clearance around the caliper and rotor.
• The components are sold together as one kit for the stated installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the exact Audi application rows, including 2002 A4/S4 eighth-digit VIN E and the listed RS4 body styles/2008 S5. Reuse and reroute the OE parking cables to the new caliper levers, then adjust them as DS-1235 directs. Open the hose chassis-bracket hole to 0.625 inch; do not assume later electronic-parking applications fit. Models covered: A4, S4, RS4 and S5.
