Wilwood 15-Inch AERO6 Front Brakes for Audi A4/A5/S4/S5, Black Calipers and GT Rotor Rings

This Wilwood AERO6 kit is a front 15-inch disc upgrade for Audi A4/A5/S4/S5 Listed B8 Applications. The 15-inch two-piece rotors are used with six-piston AERO6 calipers and the listed factory hub/spindle interface. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures complete disc brake systems and individual calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14588.
• The specified radial caliper is an AERO6. It combines a Black Powder Coat forged aluminum body with 6 pistons per unit; the published piston material is stainless.
• Bores and friction material: 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches, with BP-10 pads supplied for the specified calipers.
• The vented discs have gt slotted friction surfaces and Spec-37 Iron construction. Nominal dimensions are 1.25 in; 31.75 mm through the braking section and 15.00 in; 381 mm at the outside edge.
• Aluminum hats with Black E-Coat finish complete the two-piece rotor assembly.
• Use the specified original or compatible existing hubs. The kit contains no wheel hubs.
• The nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter is 0.590 in; 14.99 mm; the matching wheel mounting pattern(s) are 5 x 4.41 in; 5 x 112.01 mm. These describe different aspects of the attachment.
• When planning the line connection, account for the 1/8-27 NPT caliper inlet.
• The supplied hardware mounts the specified brake package. It does not include replacement spindles, a brake booster or a master cylinder.
• The caliper package calls for at least the published 19 in; 482.6 mm wheel diameter, plus sufficient spoke and inner-barrel clearance.
• Supplied line kit 220-14598 provides the braided brake hoses; the stated length is 20.00 in. Verify both ends and clearance through full travel.
• This is a kit listing; one package contains the brake components described above.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the listed 2009 A4 Sedan/Wagon, 2010–2012 A4/S4, 2009–2012 S5 and 2010–2012 A5 Cabriolet entries. DS-1234 requires chassis-line bracket flattening and a 0.625-inch opening, plus upright grommet-bracket adjustment. A 19-inch nominal wheel still needs the exact template check. Models covered: A4, S5, A5 and S4. Use the complete application table at the bottom for the precise year, submodel, brake option and note attached to each row.
