Wilwood Audi Front Slotted-Rotor Package with Red AERO6 Calipers, 14-Inch Discs for A4, A5, S4 and S5

This Wilwood AERO6 kit is a front 14-inch disc upgrade for Audi A4, A5, S4 and S5. AERO6 six-piston calipers act on 14 x 1.25-inch rotors, with application-specific hats and braided lines. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 with founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs disc brake systems and components for racing, performance-road and specialized use, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines; the complete system determines component selection.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14584-R.
• Match the AERO6 caliper architecture when selecting related components: radial attachment, 6 stainless pistons, forged aluminum body and Red Powder Coat finish.
• Pad selection is BP-10; piston-bore measurements are 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches. Confirm those values for any system changes.
• For rotor replacement, match all four specifications: 14.00 in; 355.6 mm outside diameter, 1.25 in; 31.75 mm thickness, Spec-37 Iron and the gt slotted surface. Rotor construction: vented.
• For the rotor-to-hub interface, the kit supplies separate aluminum hats finished in Black E-Coat.
• The kit does not supply replacement hubs; confirm the dimensions of those already installed.
• Attachment dimensions to confirm are 5 x 4.41 in; 5 x 112.01 mm for the wheel mounting pattern(s) and 0.590 in; 14.99 mm for the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter.
• Use a compatible hose adapter for the caliper's 1/8-27 NPT inlet.
• Included installation parts cover the kit mounting hardware, with spindles, brake booster and master cylinder excluded.
• Before ordering wheels, check the full inside profile against the drawing and the published 18 in; 457.2 mm minimum diameter.
• The braided flexline package is 220-14598, supplied in a listed 20.00 in length. Inspect end connections and routing before use.
• One brake kit is supplied for the specified application and axle position.

Fitment & Compatibility

The applications include 2009 A4 Sedan/Wagon, 2010–2012 A4/S4, 2009–2012 S5 and 2010–2012 A5 Cabriolet. Verify the exact body/year entry. DS-1233 requires the chassis hose bracket to be flattened/opened to 0.625 inch and the upright grommet bracket adjusted for the new line. Models covered: A4, S5, A5 and S4.
