Wilwood 14-Inch SRP Front Brake Kit for Listed Audi A4, A5, S4 and S5, Black AERO6 Calipers

This Wilwood AERO6 kit is a front 14-inch disc upgrade for Audi A4, A5, S4 and S5. AERO6 six-piston calipers act on 14 x 1.25-inch rotors, with application-specific hats and braided lines. Wilwood Engineering designs complete disc brake systems as well as calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, it serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; individual parts require a matched system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14584-D.
• At each caliper, the AERO6 configuration provides 6 pistons in stainless, housed in forged aluminum. The caliper attaches by radial mounting and is finished in Black Powder Coat.
• For hydraulic matching, use the published 1.62, 1.12, 1.12-inch piston bores. Pads are the BP-10 compound.
• This version supplies srp drilled & slotted rotors in Spec-37 Iron. Their 14.00 in; 355.6 mm diameter and 1.25 in; 31.75 mm section are matched to the listed vented brake package.
• Rotor hats are individual aluminum components with Black E-Coat protection.
• Hub compatibility is required for installation. No new wheel hubs are included.
• The mounting interface uses 5 x 4.41 in; 5 x 112.01 mm; verify the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter of 0.590 in; 14.99 mm separately from the bolt circle.
• Inlet-port specification for hose/fitting selection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• The listed brackets and fasteners belong to the kit. Spindles and the master-cylinder/booster assembly are outside the package.
• Wheel clearance must be measured using the installation template; the manufacturer lists 18 in; 457.2 mm as the nominal minimum.
• For the hydraulic connection, supplied braided set 220-14598 has a 20.00 in published hose length. Match the end fittings to the vehicle.
• Order quantity refers to one brake conversion kit, not an individual loose rotor or caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility

The applications include 2009 A4 Sedan/Wagon, 2010–2012 A4/S4, 2009–2012 S5 and 2010–2012 A5 Cabriolet. Verify the exact body/year entry. DS-1233 requires the chassis hose bracket to be flattened/opened to 0.625 inch and the upright grommet bracket adjusted for the new line. Models covered: A4, S5, A5 and S4.
