Wilwood AERO6 Black Front Disc Upgrade for Audi A4/A5/S4/S5, 14-Inch GT Rotors and Braided Hoses

This Wilwood AERO6 kit is a front 14-inch disc upgrade for Audi A4, A5, S4 and S5. AERO6 six-piston calipers act on 14 x 1.25-inch rotors, with application-specific hats and braided lines. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake systems and components. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, with compatibility assessed across the complete braking system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14584.
• 5 x 4.41 in; 5 x 112.01 mm is the listed wheel mounting pattern(s) dimension. Nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter: 0.590 in; 14.99 mm.
• Existing verified wheel hubs remain in service; replacement hubs are not supplied.
• Friction surface and size: gt slotted; 14.00 in; 355.6 mm diameter x 1.25 in; 31.75 mm thickness. The rotor material is Spec-37 Iron in a vented design.
• This is a two-piece disc arrangement using aluminum hats in Black E-Coat.
• The calipers are AERO6 units with a Black Powder Coat exterior. A forged aluminum body locates 6 stainless pistons; attachment is radial mount.
• The matched pads use BP-10. Manufacturer bore figures for the caliper are 1.62, 1.12, 1.12 inches.
• The caliper accepts the listed 1/8-27 NPT hydraulic connection.
• Wheel minimum: 18 in; 457.2 mm. Confirm the complete wheel shape and mounting hardware clear the brake drawing.
• Flexible lines are provided as kit 220-14598; length is 20.00 in. Route them clear of suspension, wheels and rotors.
• No spindle, booster or master cylinder is included; the kit does contain mounting hardware for the stated installation.
• This listing supplies one kit for the documented brake configuration.

Fitment & Compatibility

The applications include 2009 A4 Sedan/Wagon, 2010–2012 A4/S4, 2009–2012 S5 and 2010–2012 A5 Cabriolet. Verify the exact body/year entry. DS-1233 requires the chassis hose bracket to be flattened/opened to 0.625 inch and the upright grommet bracket adjusted for the new line. Models covered: A4, S5, A5 and S4.
