Wilwood Six-Lug Toyota/Lexus Front GT Brake Package, Red Superlite 6R Calipers and 12.88-Inch Discs

This Wilwood Superlite 6R kit is a front six-lug disc upgrade for Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser and Lexus GX470/GX460. A 12.88-inch rotor diameter pairs with six-piston Superlite calipers for the listed Toyota/Lexus six-lug platforms. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 with founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs disc brake systems and components for racing, performance-road and specialized use, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines; the complete system determines component selection.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14577-R.
• Match the Superlite 6R caliper architecture when selecting related components: radial attachment, 6 stainless pistons, forged aluminum body and Red Powder Coat finish.
• Use a compatible hose adapter for the caliper's 1/8-27 NPT inlet.
• Pad selection is BP-10; piston-bore measurements are 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Confirm those values for any system changes.
• For rotor replacement, match all four specifications: 12.88 in; 327.15 mm outside diameter, 1.10 in; 27.94 mm thickness, Spec-37 Iron and the gt slotted surface. Rotor construction: vented.
• For the rotor-to-hub interface, the kit supplies separate aluminum hats finished in Black E-Coat.
• Attachment dimensions to confirm are 6 X 5.5 in; 6 X 139.7 mm for the wheel mounting pattern(s) and 0.520 in; 13.21 mm for the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter.
• The kit does not supply replacement hubs; confirm the dimensions of those already installed.
• Included installation parts cover the kit mounting hardware, with spindles, brake booster and master cylinder excluded.
• The braided flexline package is 220-14618, supplied in a listed 20.00 in length. Inspect end connections and routing before use.
• Before ordering wheels, check the full inside profile against the drawing and the published 17 in; 431.8 mm minimum diameter.
• One brake kit is supplied for the specified application and axle position.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match every listed year/trim:Tacoma requires the specified six-lug 4 x 2 or 4 x 4 configuration, including the later individual trim rows. The additional applications are 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, GX470 and GX460. DS-1231 requires dust-shield cutting; confirm hub register, 6 x 5.50-inch pattern and wheel profile.
