Wilwood Toyota/Lexus Six-Lug Front Disc Kit with Black Superlite Calipers and 12.88-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors

This Wilwood Superlite 6R kit is a front six-lug disc upgrade for Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser and Lexus GX470/GX460. A 12.88-inch rotor diameter pairs with six-piston Superlite calipers for the listed Toyota/Lexus six-lug platforms. Wilwood Engineering designs complete disc brake systems as well as calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, it serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; individual parts require a matched system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14577-D.
• At each caliper, the Superlite 6R configuration provides 6 pistons in stainless, housed in forged aluminum. The caliper attaches by radial mounting and is finished in Black Powder Coat.
• Inlet-port specification for hose/fitting selection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• For hydraulic matching, use the published 1.75, 1.25, 1.25-inch piston bores. Pads are the BP-10 compound.
• This version supplies srp drilled & slotted rotors in Spec-37 Iron. Their 12.88 in; 327.15 mm diameter and 1.10 in; 27.94 mm section are matched to the listed vented brake package.
• Rotor hats are individual aluminum components with Black E-Coat protection.
• The mounting interface uses 6 X 5.5 in; 6 X 139.7 mm; verify the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter of 0.520 in; 13.21 mm separately from the bolt circle.
• Hub compatibility is required for installation. No new wheel hubs are included.
• The listed brackets and fasteners belong to the kit. Spindles and the master-cylinder/booster assembly are outside the package.
• For the hydraulic connection, supplied braided set 220-14618 has a 20.00 in published hose length. Match the end fittings to the vehicle.
• Wheel clearance must be measured using the installation template; the manufacturer lists 17 in; 431.8 mm as the nominal minimum.
• Order quantity refers to one brake conversion kit, not an individual loose rotor or caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match every listed year/trim:Tacoma requires the specified six-lug 4 x 2 or 4 x 4 configuration, including the later individual trim rows. The additional applications are 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, GX470 and GX460. DS-1231 requires dust-shield cutting; confirm hub register, 6 x 5.50-inch pattern and wheel profile.
