Wilwood Red TX6R Rear Brakes for Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty 4WD SRW, 15.50-Inch Rotors

This Wilwood TX6R kit is a rear heavy-duty disc upgrade retaining OE parking brakes for Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350 4WD with Single Rear Wheels. The rear package uses 15.50-inch GTB iron rotor/hat castings and six-piston TX6R calipers, with braided hoses included. The kit belongs to Wilwood Engineering's range of disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and produces calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for complete brake-system planning.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14559-R.
• Iron forms the vented rotors. Each disc has a gt slotted face, an outside diameter of 15.50 in; 393.7 mm and thickness of 1.38 in; 35.05 mm.
• Red Powder Coat TX6R calipers are supplied. Their forged aluminum bodies use the radial mounting arrangement with 6 stainless pistons in each caliper.
• Piston sizes listed by Wilwood are 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches, with BP-22 friction material in this kit.
• Hydraulic fitting interface on each caliper: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Match 8 x 6.69 in; 8 x 169.93 mm at the wheel mounting pattern(s) interface, with 0.64 in; 16.26 mm as the listed stud diameter.
• The iron rotor and parking-brake hat are a single casting. No separate aluminum hat or wheel hub is supplied; retain the verified OE hub and parking hardware.
• Published wheel minimum is 20 in; 508 mm, subject to the required inside-profile check. Rotor diameter is a separate measurement.
• Application-specific mounting hardware is supplied. Provide or retain the correct spindle, master cylinder and brake booster separately.
• The kit includes 220-14166 braided hydraulic lines, listed at 14.00 in. Verify the chassis connection on the actual application.
• Package quantity is one application-specific brake kit.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the exact listed 2013–2022 F-250/F-350 four-wheel-drive single-rear-wheel applications. The integral rotor parking drum works with the existing OE parking-brake mechanism. DS-1239 requires rear backing-plate/dust-shield cutting for the new bracket; retain and adjust the existing parking hardware. Models covered: F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty.
