Wilwood Anodized TX6R Front Disc Kit, 15-Inch GT Rotors for Super Duty F-250/F-350 4WD SRW Applications

This Wilwood TX6R kit is a front heavy-duty disc upgrade for Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD SRW. TX6R six-piston calipers work with 15 x 1.50-inch Spec-37 rotors and separate eight-lug hats. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines must be selected as parts of a complete, matched braking system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14558-C.
• Match the TX6R caliper architecture when selecting related components: radial attachment, 6 stainless pistons, forged aluminum body and Type III Anodize finish.
• Pad selection is BP-22; piston-bore measurements are 2.00, 1.88, 1.88 inches. Confirm those values for any system changes.
• For rotor replacement, match all four specifications: 15.00 in; 381 mm outside diameter, 1.50 in; 38.1 mm thickness, Spec-37 Iron and the gt slotted surface. Rotor construction: vented.
• For the rotor-to-hub interface, the kit supplies separate aluminum hats finished in Black E-Coat.
• The kit does not supply replacement hubs; confirm the dimensions of those already installed.
• Attachment dimensions to confirm are 8 x 6.692 in; 8 x 169.98 mm for the wheel mounting pattern(s) and 0.640 in; 16.26 mm for the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter.
• Use a compatible hose adapter for the caliper's 1/8-27 NPT inlet.
• Included installation parts cover the kit mounting hardware, with spindles, brake booster and master cylinder excluded.
• Before ordering wheels, check the full inside profile against the drawing and the published 20 in; 508 mm minimum diameter.
• The braided flexline package is 220-14112, supplied in a listed 30.00 in length. Inspect end connections and routing before use.
• One brake kit is supplied for the specified application and axle position.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the listed 2013–2022 Super Duty four-wheel-drive trucks, DS-1238 specifies single rear wheels. Confirm the factory hub/register and eight-lug pattern; dual-rear-wheel and two-wheel-drive fitment is not established. The front dust shield may need trimming.
