Wilwood Black Dynalite Front Brakes for Wilwood ProSpindle, Plain 12.19-Inch Rotors and 5x5.00-Inch Hubs

This Wilwood Dynalite kit is a front ProSpindle disc conversion for Wilwood ProSpindle with 5 x 5.00-Inch Wheels. The four-piston calipers are supplied with 12.19-inch rotors and five-lug aluminum hubs for a specific aftermarket spindle interface. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake systems and components. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range spans calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, with compatibility assessed across the complete braking system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14532.
• At each caliper, the Dynalite configuration provides 4 pistons in stainless, housed in forged aluminum. The caliper attaches by lug mounting and is finished in Black Powder Coat.
• Inlet-port specification for hose/fitting selection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• For hydraulic matching, use the published 1.75, 1.75-inch piston bores. Pads are the BP-10 compound.
• This version supplies plain face rotors in Iron. Their 12.19 in; 309.63 mm diameter and 0.81 in; 20.57 mm section are matched to the listed vented brake package.
• The mounting interface uses 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm; verify the wheel-stud thread of 1/2-20 separately from the bolt circle.
• This hub kit includes aluminum wheel hubs. Their wheel-bolt layout and stud threads must match the chosen wheels.
• The listed brackets and fasteners belong to the kit. Spindles and the master-cylinder/booster assembly are outside the package.
• No hydraulic flexlines accompany the kit; supply the correct hoses and fittings for the documented caliper/chassis interface.
• Wheel clearance must be measured using the installation template; the manufacturer lists 15 in; 381 mm as the nominal minimum.
• Order quantity refers to one brake conversion kit, not an individual loose rotor or caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility

For separately purchased Wilwood ProSpindle 830-10832 standard-height or 830-9807 two-inch-drop assemblies, use the corresponding DS-1223 procedure. The hub pattern is 5 x 5.00 inches. Stamped-steel wheels need hub shield 300-10716; neither ProSpindle assembly is supplied.
