Wilwood Red Dynapro 6 Calipers with 12.19-Inch SRP Front Rotors and 5x5 Hubs for Pinto, Bobcat and Mustang II

This Wilwood Dynapro 6 kit is a front five-lug disc conversion for Pinto, Bobcat and Mustang II Factory Disc Spindles. Six stainless pistons per Dynapro caliper act on 12.19-inch rotors; the supplied hubs have a 5 x 5.00-inch wheel pattern. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. The manufacturer supplies disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines that must work together as a complete system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14531-DR.
• Iron forms the vented rotors. Each disc has a srp drilled & slotted face, an outside diameter of 12.19 in; 309.63 mm and thickness of 0.81 in; 20.57 mm.
• Red Powder Coat Dynapro 6 calipers are supplied. Their forged aluminum bodies use the lug mounting arrangement with 6 stainless pistons in each caliper.
• Piston sizes listed by Wilwood are 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches, with BP-10 friction material in this kit.
• Hydraulic fitting interface on each caliper: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Match 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm at the wheel mounting pattern(s) interface, with 1/2-20 as the wheel-stud thread.
• The wheel hubs are individual aluminum components supplied in this package. Match their lug pattern and thread to the wheels.
• Published wheel minimum is 15 in; 381 mm, subject to the required inside-profile check. Rotor diameter is a separate measurement.
• Application-specific mounting hardware is supplied. Provide or retain the correct spindle, master cylinder and brake booster separately.
• The package excludes hydraulic hoses. Choose compatible connections and line length for the specific installation. Separate reference: 220-8307.
• Package quantity is one application-specific brake kit.

Fitment & Compatibility

Applications cover 1974–1980 Pinto, 1975–1980 Bobcat and 1974–1978 Mustang II original disc spindles. Confirm that interface and 5 x 5.00-inch wheels before ordering. Use hub shield 300-10716 with stamped-steel wheels. A separate master-cylinder conversion may need pushrod modification. Models covered: Mustang II, Pinto and Bobcat. Use the complete application table at the bottom for the precise year, submodel, brake option and note attached to each row.

Kit fits 74-80 Pinto / Mustang II original disc brake spindles only.

Kit may fit some 15" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.

Separate universal hose choices are 220-7056 (14-inch), 220-7699 (16-inch) or 220-8307 (18-inch). Select the correct length and end fittings; these are alternatives, not three required kits.

Master Cylinder may require modification to existing pushrod assembly to install.

If a separate rear parking-brake conversion is also planned, a universal parking cable may need cable or vehicle changes; it is not part of this front kit.
