Wilwood Black Dynapro 6 Front Disc Package for Pinto/Bobcat/Mustang II, Plain 12.19-Inch Rotors and 5x5 Hubs

This Wilwood Dynapro 6 kit is a front five-lug disc conversion for Pinto, Bobcat and Mustang II Factory Disc Spindles. Six stainless pistons per Dynapro caliper act on 12.19-inch rotors; the supplied hubs have a 5 x 5.00-inch wheel pattern. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures complete disc brake systems and individual calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14531.
• Rotor outside diameter: 12.19 in; 309.63 mm; thickness: 0.81 in; 20.57 mm. Construction is vented Iron, with plain faces.
• Caliper specification: Dynapro 6; 6 stainless pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and lug mounting. Finish: Black Powder Coat.
• Published piston bores: 1.62, 1.38, 1.38 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-10.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm; wheel-stud thread: 1/2-20.
• Separate aluminum wheel hubs are included with the listed lug patterns and stud threads.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Hydraulic hoses are not included. Confirm the separate line kit, fitting sizes, length and routing. Separate reference: 220-8307.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

Applications cover 1974–1980 Pinto, 1975–1980 Bobcat and 1974–1978 Mustang II original disc spindles. Confirm that interface and 5 x 5.00-inch wheels before ordering. Use hub shield 300-10716 with stamped-steel wheels. A separate master-cylinder conversion may need pushrod modification. Models covered: Mustang II, Pinto and Bobcat. Use the complete application table at the bottom for the precise year, submodel, brake option and note attached to each row.

Kit fits 74-80 Pinto / Mustang II original disc brake spindles only.

Kit may fit some 15" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.

Separate universal hose choices are 220-7056 (14-inch), 220-7699 (16-inch) or 220-8307 (18-inch). Select the correct length and end fittings; these are alternatives, not three required kits.

Master Cylinder may require modification to existing pushrod assembly to install.

If a separate rear parking-brake conversion is also planned, a universal parking cable may need cable or vehicle changes; it is not part of this front kit.
