Wilwood Audi A4/S4/RS4/S5 Front SRP Brake Conversion with Black Six-Piston Calipers and 12.88-Inch Rotors

This Wilwood Superlite 6R kit is a front disc upgrade for Audi A4, S4, RS4 and S5. The 12.88-inch rotor package uses narrow six-piston calipers, separate aluminum hats and included braided front hoses. Wilwood Engineering designs complete disc brake systems as well as calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, it serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; individual parts require a matched system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14487-D.
• Match the Superlite 6R caliper architecture when selecting related components: radial attachment, 6 stainless pistons, forged aluminum body and Black Powder Coat finish.
• Use a compatible hose adapter for the caliper's 1/8-27 NPT inlet.
• Pad selection is BP-10; piston-bore measurements are 1.75, 1.25, 1.25 inches. Confirm those values for any system changes.
• For rotor replacement, match all four specifications: 12.88 in; 327.15 mm outside diameter, 1.10 in; 27.94 mm thickness, Spec-37 Iron and the srp drilled & slotted surface. Rotor construction: vented.
• For the rotor-to-hub interface, the kit supplies separate aluminum hats finished in Black E-Coat.
• Attachment dimensions to confirm are 5 x 4.41 in; 5 x 112.01 mm for the wheel mounting pattern(s) and 0.590 in; 14.99 mm for the nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter.
• The kit does not supply replacement hubs; confirm the dimensions of those already installed.
• Included installation parts cover the kit mounting hardware, with spindles, brake booster and master cylinder excluded.
• The braided flexline package is 220-14598, supplied in a listed 20.00 in length. Inspect end connections and routing before use.
• Before ordering wheels, check the full inside profile against the drawing and the published 17 in; 431.8 mm minimum diameter.
• One brake kit is supplied for the specified application and axle position.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the exact Audi year/body/VIN rows: 2002 A4/S4 require VIN E in the eighth position; 2009 A4/S4 coverage is Cabriolet. The listed 2008 S5 row is corroborated by Wilwood's AU 01 application page. The hose chassis bracket must be opened to 0.625-inch diameter as DS-1220 describes. Models covered: A4, S4, RS4 and S5.
