Wilwood Front Dynamic Drag Brake Kit with Drilled Rotors for Specified GM Factory Disc Spindles

Configure the specified GM factory disc spindle for drag racing with four-piston Dynapro calipers, dynamic adapters and drilled steel rotors. This package includes five-lug hubs with bearings, seals and extended studs. Its supplied 10.75-inch rotor must not be confused with the original 11-inch rotor used to identify the correct spindle. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 with founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs disc brake systems and components for racing, performance-road and specialized use, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines; the complete system determines component selection.

• Rotor outside diameter: 10.75 in; 273.05 mm; thickness: 0.35 in; 8.89 mm. Construction is solid Steel, with drilled faces.
• Caliper specification: Dynapro; 4 stainless pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and lug mounting. Finish: Type III Anodize.
• Published piston bores: 1.75, 1.75 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-20.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; wheel-stud thread: 1/2-20.
• Separate aluminum wheel hubs are included with the listed lug patterns and stud threads.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Hydraulic hoses are not included. Confirm the separate line kit, fitting sizes, length and routing. Separate reference: 220-10509.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

The original spindle must be the listed 11-inch rotor type and requires modification according to the installation instructions. Check the precise Camaro, Firebird or other GM vehicle entry below, including model year; similar-looking spindle assemblies are not a substitute for the specified interface. Hoses are excluded, so select the appropriate chassis line kit and route it clear of moving suspension parts. Observe the drag-only vehicle-weight limits for the installed rear-brake type. Five-lug wheel compatibility, resulting wheel position and caliper-to-wheel clearance must all be checked before purchase. Front kits fit 11" rotor spindles only.

Requires modifications to original spindle

Kit may fit some 14" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.

If a separate rear parking-brake conversion is also planned, a universal parking cable may need cable or vehicle changes; it is not part of this front kit.

Separate universal hose choices are 220-7056 (14-inch), 220-7699 (16-inch) or 220-8307 (18-inch). Select the correct length and end fittings; these are alternatives, not three required kits.

Vehicle weight must not exceed 2, 800 lb with rear disc brakes or 2, 400 lb with rear drum brakes. Wheel contact surfaces must sit fully on the hub: use separately ordered spacer 300-11961 when they overhang the hub face. For stamped-steel wheels that stay within the hub face, Wilwood specifies shield 300-10716. Verify all wheel contact and clearance requirements in the instructions.
