Wilwood Front Drilled-Rotor Dynapro Drag Brake Kit for Listed GM 11-Inch Rotor Spindles

For the specified GM factory disc spindles, this drag kit replaces the front assembly with drilled steel rotors, five-lug hubs and four-piston Dynapro Lug Mount calipers. The new rotor measures 10.75 inches in diameter and 0.35 inch thick; the 11-inch reference identifies the original spindle application, not the supplied rotor. From its Camarillo, California base, Wilwood Engineering designs disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized needs. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, its range covers calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines chosen to work within a complete brake system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14418-D.
• 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm is the listed wheel mounting pattern(s) dimension. Wheel-stud thread: 1/2-20.
• Aluminum hubs are provided separately from the rotor components, with the specified wheel patterns and studs.
• Friction surface and size: drilled; 10.75 in; 273.05 mm diameter x 0.35 in; 8.89 mm thickness. The rotor material is Steel in a solid design.
• The calipers are Dynapro units with a Type III Anodize exterior. A forged aluminum body locates 4 stainless pistons; attachment is lug mount.
• The matched pads use BP-20. Manufacturer bore figures for the caliper are 1.75, 1.75 inches.
• The caliper accepts the listed 1/8-27 NPT hydraulic connection.
• Wheel minimum: 15 in; 381 mm. Confirm the complete wheel shape and mounting hardware clear the brake drawing.
• Brake lines are a separate purchase. Verify end fittings, safe routing and the length needed for this application. Separate reference: 220-10509.
• No spindle, booster or master cylinder is included; the kit does contain mounting hardware for the stated installation.
• This listing supplies one kit for the documented brake configuration.

Fitment & Compatibility

Only the listed original 11-inch rotor spindles qualify. Installation requires modification to the original spindle as detailed in the instructions; a matching model name alone is insufficient. Check the exact Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Pontiac or GMC entry and year below. The package supplies bearings, seals, extended studs and fastening hardware, while hydraulic lines must be selected separately for the vehicle. Retain the drag-use weight limits for the installed rear-brake type. Compare the finished hub position and wheel-clearance template with the actual wheel, including its spokes and inner barrel. Front kits fit 11" rotor spindles only.

Requires modifications to original spindle

Kit may fit some 14" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.

Separate universal hose choices are 220-7056 (14-inch), 220-7699 (16-inch) or 220-8307 (18-inch). Select the correct length and end fittings; these are alternatives, not three required kits.

If a separate rear parking-brake conversion is also planned, a universal parking cable may need cable or vehicle changes; it is not part of this front kit.

Vehicle weight must not exceed 2, 800 lb with rear disc brakes or 2, 400 lb with rear drum brakes. Wheel contact surfaces must sit fully on the hub: use separately ordered spacer 300-11961 when they overhang the hub face. For stamped-steel wheels that stay within the hub face, Wilwood specifies shield 300-10716. Verify all wheel contact and clearance requirements in the instructions.
