Wilwood 11-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rear Conversion for 12-Bolt C-Clip Axles, Black Dynapro Calipers and Internal Parking Brakes

This Wilwood Dynapro Low-Profile kit is a rear disc and internal parking-brake conversion for Chevy 12-Bolt C-Clip Axles with Staggered Shocks. The 11-inch integral rotor/hat and compact four-piston calipers serve 2.75- or 2.81-inch axle-flange offsets. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. The manufacturer supplies disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines that must work together as a complete system.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 140-14400-D.
• At each caliper, the Dynapro Low-Profile configuration provides 4 pistons in stainless, housed in forged aluminum. The caliper attaches by lug mounting and is finished in Black Powder Coat.
• Inlet-port specification for hose/fitting selection is 1/8-27 NPT.
• For hydraulic matching, use the published 1.38, 1.38-inch piston bores. Pads are the BP-10 compound.
• This version supplies srp drilled & slotted rotors in Iron. Their 11.00 in; 279.4 mm diameter and 0.81 in; 20.57 mm section are matched to the listed vented brake package.
• The mounting interface uses 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.75 in; 5 x 120.65 mm; 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm; verify the listed stud diameter of 0.52 in; 13.21 mm separately from the bolt circle.
• Hub compatibility is required for installation. No new wheel hubs are included.
• Rear interface: Chevy 12-bolt C-clip, with a 2.75/2.81-inch axle-flange offset measured between the wheel-side axle flange and wheel-side housing flange. Confirm the housing-bolt pattern and bearing fit.
• The listed brackets and fasteners belong to the kit. Spindles and the master-cylinder/booster assembly are outside the package.
• No hydraulic flexlines accompany the kit; supply the correct hoses and fittings for the documented caliper/chassis interface.
• Wheel clearance must be measured using the installation template; the manufacturer lists 14 in; 355.6 mm as the nominal minimum.
• Order quantity refers to one brake conversion kit, not an individual loose rotor or caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the 12-bolt C-clip housing flange, 2.75/2.81-inch axle-flange offset and staggered-shock arrangement. The right caliper mounts behind the axle; the left mounts ahead. The vehicle rows reference RideTech front spindles and do not identify the installed rear axle. Measure the actual rear flange and bearing before selecting this kit. Kit designed for staggered shock mount rear ends: R/H caliper is rear mount, L/H caliper is front mount.

Kit may fit some 14" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.

Separate universal hose choices are 220-7056 (14-inch), 220-7699 (16-inch) or 220-8307 (18-inch). Select the correct length and end fittings; these are alternatives, not three required kits.

The maximum axle-flange diameter is 6.61 inches with the specified 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer; verify the 2.80-inch register and supplied centering rings. Some 14-inch wheels may clear, but only after checking the kit drawing. Shock relocation or modification may be necessary. Parking-brake cables, clevises, adapters and cable hardware are separate; universal cable kit 330-9371 may need vehicle-specific changes.
