Wilwood Front Dynapro Lug Mount-ST Road-Race Brake Kit for Mazda Miata, 11-Inch GT Rotors (1991–1997, 1999–2005)

Equip a Miata dedicated to road racing with four-piston Dynapro Lug Mount-ST front calipers and 11.00 × 0.81-inch GT slotted rotors. Thermlock pistons, Type III hard anodizing and BP-28 pads are specified for sustained competition temperatures. This package includes stainless braided flexlines; it requires 15-inch wheels with enough internal clearance for the larger brake assembly. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering develops disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines must be selected as parts of a complete, matched braking system.

• Rotor outside diameter: 11.00 in; 279.4 mm; thickness: 0.81 in; 20.57 mm. Construction is vented Spec-37 Iron, with gt slotted faces.
• Caliper specification: Dynapro / ST; 4 Thermlock pistons per caliper, forged aluminum body and lug mounting. Finish: Type III Anodize.
• Published piston bores: 1.38, 1.38 inches. Supplied pad compound: BP-28.
• Caliper hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT.
• Wheel mounting pattern(s): 4 x 3.93 in; 4 x 99.82 mm; nominal hat stud-hole clearance diameter: 0.500 in; 12.70 mm.
• Separate rotor hats: aluminum, finished in Black E-Coat.
• No wheel hubs are supplied; use the documented existing hub arrangement.
• Minimum nominal wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. The actual inner profile must pass the kit clearance drawing.
• Mounting hardware is included; spindles, master cylinder and brake booster are not supplied.
• Included braided flexlines: kit 220-11751, with 16.00 in hose length. Confirm fitting compatibility and routing.
• Quantity: one brake kit for the stated axle/application.

Fitment & Compatibility

The supplied applications cover Mazda Miata 1991–1997 and 1999–2005, with separate Sports Suspension and VIN entries in the later years. Match the exact application entry before ordering; do not fill the gaps between the listed years. The brackets mount the calipers at the factory location, while the aluminum rotor hats work with the specified original hubs or compatible Wilwood racing ProHubs. Caliper sizing is intended for the OE power-brake system. A manual conversion needs an appropriately sized master cylinder and system review. These high-temperature race pads are unsuitable for extended low-temperature use, which causes premature pad and rotor wear. Confirm clearance with the installation drawing rather than wheel diameter alone. Models covered: Miata. Use the included high-temperature race pads for circuit conditions; extended low-temperature operation causes premature rotor and pad wear.

This Brake Kit requires 15-inch wheels with additional inside clearance to accommodate the larger than stock brake package. Please refer to the wheel clearance diagram for requirements.

Calipers in this kit have been selected for use with the OE power brakes. Contact tech support for optional caliper piston sizes and master cylinder recommendations if using a manual conversion.
